Re-launch of Landline Scheme plan 1+1 on Promotional basis

The scheme will also be available to subscribers of COMBO Plan-249, 250, 500 and all existing landline plans.

The scheme will have following Terms & conditions:

Full security deposit should have been paid for the first telephone.
The new connection is to be provided in the same name and at the same address of the customer.
No post connection activity of shift, will be permitted for this additional landline connection. However, the customer can get this post connection facility along with the first connection i.e. shift of telephone will be automatically linked with first telephone.
Disconnection of second telephone(surrender, permanent disconnection, DNP etc. will be automatic with first telephone.
Chargeable phone plus facilities/accessories may be provided on usual charge.
The scheme is only for 6 (six) months old or more subscribers of MTNL Landline.
STD/ISD facility on this additional telephone can be provided on upfront payment of Rs. 1000/- or Rs. 3000/-. If the first Telephone is already having STD/ISD facility there is no need of additional security deposit in providing STD/ISD on 2^nd telephone. In case the first telephone is ISD barred and subscriber desires to have ISD on second telephone the same can be provided by taking additional security of Rs.2000/- in four installments at the rate of Rs. 500/- each in first four bills.
There will not be any monthly service charges for the +1 (second) connection.

This +1 (second) telephone connection shall continue till the first telephone connection is working.

The second telephone can be surrendered by the customer if he so desires.
Ordinary EPBT instrument will be provided on the 2^nd telephone.
It can be booked through 1500 & Sanchar Haat. For booking on 1500, the booking form will be given to lineman who will get the same filled at the time of installation & will be placed in the original existing phone file. While booking at Sanchar Haat, applicants are required to present a copy of latest paid bill of existing connection alongwith completed application form.

The relaunch of 1+1 scheme shall be implemented on promotional basis from 01.02.2010 to 30.04.2010.
