MTNL subscribers who are Citibank Credit Card Holders can also pay their telephone bills thorough Citibank Card. The customer is required to contact Citibank at telephone number 23712484 at least 7 days before the pay by pay date and give them the telephone number bill amount and pay date. The bill be paid automatically.

All About Telephone Bill Payment

MTNL has made elaborate arrangements for the convenience of our valued customers for making payment of telephone bills. These are:
    • Counters in Area and Sub- Area Customer Service Centres by cash/cheque /draft.
    • Counters in Divisional Offices located at Eastern Court and Bangla Sahib Road. (Up to pay by date by cheque only )

Know Your Billing Cycle Bill Date
MTNL has dispersed its esteemed customers into four billing cycles, each of two months, to facilitate dispatch. The billing cycle commences on 1st and 16th of the ensuing month. The pay by date is normally 3 weeks after these dates. MTNL dispatch telephone bills by post and through available courier services on these billing cycle dates. The bill should normally reach the customer within 10days from these bill dates. Incase the bill is not received during this period due to postal delay or loss on transit, kindly obtain duplicate copy of the Centre for timely payment to avoid surcharge. Normally the bill date for a particular subscriber remains same and cycle every two months.

To avoid (1) hassles associated with bills lost in transit(11) Visits to counters and (III) payment of surcharge, subscriber top the below noted new schemes of telephone bill payment.
