Conversion of 2G Subs to 3G

 

Conversion of  all existing 2G subscribers to 3G on the occasion of 25th year of service by MTNL

 

This conversion shall be subject to following conditions:-

 

  1. There will be no conversion charges.

 

  1. The Video calls shall be charged after conversion from 2G to 3G as per details below:-

 

(i) Subscribers in Pay Per Second Plan in both Postpaid and Prepaid shall be charged as follows:              

                  Other network  ( local & STD ) @ 1paisa/sec.

 

(ii) Subscribers in Pay Per Minute Plan in both Postpaid and Prepaid shall be charged at the following rates:-

 

·  MTNL own network (Delhi & Mumbai)        0.60 Paisa/Min.

·  Other Networks (local & STD)                  0.90 Paisa/Min.

 

     (iii) ISD @ Rs. 30/- per minute in both the variants.       

 

3.      The following category of subscribers shall be excluded from this Conversion scheme.

· 2 G subscribers in Unlimited Data  Plan.

· Service Connections, however, they can be converted in the light of on the job requirement on case to case basis.

  

The other terms and conditions will remain as per existing plan of the subscriber.

 

This scheme is  w.e.f. 25. 05. 2010.
